15th Anniversary Cheers, Video and Photos:

For those who can remember it…it was one hell’ova party to recall. We want to extend our many thanks for coming out to raise a glass with us and for all of the Facebook/Twitter birthday love.

We broke the record books on this one, tearing it up with more friends than our high school guidance council told us we had. We also simultaneously hosted more than 90 guest brewers throughout the weekend who concocted a variety of provocatively named and deliciously brewed casks for our upcoming 3^rd annual “Brew Your Cask Off” Cask Ale Festival.

Mmmmm. Beerthday Cake!

What better to celebrate our 15^th birthday than with a beer-baked birthday cake? We teamed up with local bakery, Perfect Wedding Cake, to create a massive 5-feet-tall by 3-feet-wide specially designed chocolate cake to commemorate our 15 Years of Heady Beers bottle and packaging. The cake recipe called for 60-ounces of a stout brew, so we suitably served up our Happy Ending seasonal chock-full of hops and chocolate notes to be included in the bake mix…and even the icing. To celebrate 15 crazy years, we are opening up our own photo history books to share a boatload of never-before-seen pics in our new album on Facebook. Seriously, you have to check out the heady outfits from years past.   

How to enter:

Post your SweetWater pictures (from brewery tours, festivals, beer pics, SweetWater paraphernalia…whatever you got, as long as it’s at our place or includes a logo/beer bottle) with a few words and a date (if your memory can recall it) on SweetWater’s 15^th Anniversary Facebook event page. Then send your photo, along with your name, email and date of birth to our intern at intern@sweetwaterbrew.com (this is how the winners will be chosen). And be nice…she works for beer!
