Hop heads unite.
Sweet eight-pound, six-ounce newborn baby Jesus, IPA Day has returned. On Thursday, Aug. 2, craft beer enthusiasts across the world will raise a toast together to one of beer’s most iconic and widely brewed styles – India Pale Ale.
This international grassroots movement was created as an opportunity for the entire craft beer community to combine forces and advocate craft beer through increased education and global awareness…and what better way to do all that fancy schmancy stuff than to come raise a few heady pints of our redickulously delicious SweetWater IPA with us for the IPA Day festivities.
We’ll be celebrating here at the brewery on Aug. 2 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and breaking out the best of our IPA stash for y’all to try, created from our own hombe of headiness, our Head Brewer, Nick Nock. We’ll have the following kegs on draft:
- Fresh Sticky Nugs
- Buckeye’d Brown Eye
- Wet Dream
- Woodford Reserve Barrel aged IPA
- Border Hopper
- Hop Ghoulash
- Our new year-round rye’d IPA – LowRYEder
- And of course, our classic SweetWater IPA
Last year, we were ranked #2 nationwide for IPA Day party check-ins and we’re ready to blow the doors off again amigos. So, make sure you go to our Facebook event page to RSVP for the fun this go ’round. Also, follow IPA Day on Facebook and Twitter, and no matter where ya raise your coldies this holiday, make sure you hashtag #IPADay. Cheers!
